Shrunks Inflatable Bedrail – Overview
The Shrunks Inflatable Bed Rail is a very different solution to the other products that I have reviewed on this site. Rather than attach to the side of the bed, it is simply inserted under the fitted sheet of any standard twin, queen or king sized bed to form a barrier.
The Shrunks bed rail is supplied with a small foot pump, repair kit and handy carry bag. Although it is supplied with a pump, it is perfectly possible for a healthy adult to blow it up without using the pump.
It inflates to a maximum size of 48″ long, 7″ high and 4″ wide. When not in use it can be deflated, folded up and stored in the carry bag. This makes it a very convenient and portable option for those wishing to take a bed rail on holiday.
Parents will be reassured by the fact that this product is BPA, phthalate and lead-free.

- Innovative design offers comfort and safety
Value for Money

The Verdict
Although some people love these bed rails, I will probably not be choosing this option for my children when we go on our travels. On balance, I prefer the products that fit to the side of the bed since there will be no guarantee that hotels will be able to provide suitable sheets to ensure a proper fit. However, if you have very limited space in your luggage this may be a good option.
