Choosing the Best Harness to Booster Seats
When looking for the best Harness to Booster Car Seats of 2023, there are 3 manufacturers that stand out from the crowd and appear to be among the most popular options. They are not the cheapest models, but then you usually get what you pay for and these seats are designed to last for many years.
Since harness to booster seats are intended to be used right up until the point when your child no longer needs to use a child car seat at all, you might as well buy a premium model that comes with the best safety and convenience features, and is likely to last the full 7 years or so without falling apart.
If I were looking to buy a harness to booster seat for my child in 2023, the products discussed below would definitely be at the very top of my shortlist.
So, which are the best harness to booster seats available to buy in 2023?
Best Harness to Booster Seats – My Top 3 Picks
Here are my 3 favorite series of harness to booster seats for 2023, in no particular order.
#1 Diono Radian 3Q Range
Technically, the Diono Radian 3Q range of seats are probably best categorised as “all-in-one” models since, unlike the other options mentioned, they can actually be used from birth. However, they come with all of the same features as a standard harness to booster seat and so can properly be included within this list.
There are 3 seats to choose from in the Diono Radian 3Q Series of harness to booster car seats.
From the bottom to the top of the range, they are:
Although there are some significant differences between the 3 seats, all of the Diono Radian seats are just 17 inches wide!
This makes them by far the narrowest harness to booster seats on the market in 2023 and are a great choice if you have a small car or need to fit 3 seats side by side in the same row within your vehicle.

You will note that these videos describe the Diono Radian seats as convertible car seats. Whilst it is true that they can function in the same way as convertible car seats (4 – 65 pounds weight limits), they can also be used as harnessed booster seats, and then belt-positioning booster seats. As a result, they are properly categorized as All in One car seats, but function in exactly the same way as a harness to booster seat when installed in that mode.

- Booster Weight Range – 50 to 120 pounds
- Maximum Height – 57 inches

#2 Britax Grow With You
The Britax “Grow With You” series of harness-to-booster car seats replaces their previous range, which included the Pinnacle 90, Frontier 90, and Pioneer 70 seats.
There are still 3 different seats in the Britax Harness-to-Booster range and it can still be quite difficult for parents and carers to work out exactly what the differences are between the 3 models. The 3 seats are:
Although the Britax Grow With You ClickTight Plus seat looks very similar to the more basic Britax Grow With You seat, there are a couple of very important differences between these seats that you need to consider before deciding which one to buy for your child. You can read all about those differences here.
All of the Britax Grow With You seats are suitable for use between 25 and 120 pounds and have a maximum child height limit of 63 inches.
The reason that the Grow With You ClickTight Plus and Grow With You ClickTight seats carry the “ClickTight” label is due to one of the unique ways in which these seats can be installed in your vehicle.
As the product names suggests, the ClickTight versions of the Britax Grow With You seat comes fitted with the Britax ClickTight Installation System.
Although these seats can still be installed in a traditional manner using the lower LATCH connectors, they also comes with the added option of being installed using the Britax ClickTight Installation System.
So, what is the Britax ClickTight installation system?
The ClickTight installation system involves a simple 3-stage process. You open the compartment, you feed the seat belt through the appropriate route, and then you close the compartment until you hear the “click”.

The Chicco MyFit is a slightly cheaper harness to booster seat for you to consider if you are on a very tight budget. As for the maximum height limit, the Chicco MyFit is suitable for use up to 57 inches, which is the same as the Diono Radian seats, but is less than the 63 inch height limit on the Britax Grow With You seats.
