BOB Revolution SE BOB Revolution Pro
The BOB Revolution series of jogging strollers are often at the top of the list when it comes to high-end premium options.
The BOB Revolution SE version of the jogging stroller has been a very popular choice for many years, but it has always lacked a couple of features that would have completed its list of excellent features. It has always lacked a hand brake and the handlebar was not adjustable and, for some parents, this was a deal breaker.
The great news is that there is now a BOB Revolution Pro version on the market and it comes with some much improved added features that take this jogging stroller to the next level.
This is my comparison review of the BOB Revolution SE and BOB Revolution Pro jogging strollers and I hope that the information provided is helpful to you when deciding which one of these products is best for you and your child.

BOB Revolution SE vs Revolution Pro – Differences
1. Adjustable Handlebar
Just like the Revolution Flex model, the Revolution Pro stroller comes with a very handy adjustable handlebar. The SE model, however, does not.
If you want to safely use a jogging stroller, you really need to be able to set the handlebar at the correct position for your particular height. Parents come in all different shapes and sizes and having to stoop down or reach up whilst using a jogging stroller brings a risk of injury that could be avoided with an adjustable handlebar.
The adjustable handlebar on the Revolution Pro is a massive improvement over the fixed handlebar of the SE model. This improvement will means that those parents who are taller or shorter than average, and who might previously have overlooked the BOB Revolution range, can now find a model to suit their needs.
The handlebar on the Revolution Pro can be put into 9 different height positions by simply pressing the big red buttons on the side of the handlebar and then moving it to the desired setting. The handlebar height range (from the ground) is from about 34 to 45 inches, and you ought to be able to find the perfect setting for you whatever your size.
2. Hand Brake
The Revolution Pro stroller has another advantage over the Revolution SE model, which is that it comes with a hand brake as well as a parking foot brake.
There are 2 situations that come to my mind when considering whether or not a hand brake is a necessary feature.
Firstly, if you are the very active type of parent who likes to jog up and down hills, a hand brake is an absolute must have if you want to stay safe. You really don’t want the stroller to be able run ahead of you when going down a hill, as this can create a risk of injury to both you and your child.
Secondly, even if you are just taking a more leisurely walking in an area that has some change in level, it is much more comfortable for you if you can gently squeeze the hand brake when you are going down hill rather than having to pull back and use your back and thigh muscles to restrain the stroller and stop it from getting away from you.
Personally, I wouldn’t ever buy a jogging stroller without a hand brake for the reasons outlined above. My local parkland and woodland areas are pretty hilly and so the hand brake is an essential component.
3. Color Options
The Revolution Pro is available in different color options to the Revolution SE model.

BOB Revolution SE vs Revolution Pro – My Verdict
The BOB Revolution Pro jogging stroller is the top-of-the-range model in this series and comes with every conceivable feature that you could expect to see on a jogging stroller. I would definitely pay the extra cash for the Pro version in order to enjoy the enhanced safety and convenience of the adjustable handlebar and hand brake.
The adjustable handlebar and addition of the hand brake are massive improvements over the basic SE model and I would highly recommend it to you.
