J is For Jeep Jogging Strollers – The Problem?
Delta Children’s decision to recall 28,000 of its Jogging Strollers was made upon discovering that there was a potentially very serious defect in the stroller leg brackets. In short, it was found that they were vulnerable to breaking in use, which presented a risk that your child would fall from the stroller as a result.
Prior to making the recall decision, there had been 4 reported incidents in which the stroller leg supports had broken. Although no children suffered serious injuries, one child did suffer cuts and bruises as a result.
Obviously, if this defect were to go un-repaired there is risk that a child could suffer much more serious injuries than simply cuts and bruises and so this recall notice should not be ignored by owners of these strollers.
