The Good – Compatible with mico ap and mico nxt car seats; Audible click to confirm correct fitting of seat into base.
The Bad – There used to be a problem with clicking seat into base, but now solved
The Bottom Line – If you need to install your Maxi Cosi Mico AP or NXT car seat into more than 1 vehicle, then this is a must-have item. It is significantly cheaper than other similar infant car seat bases.
Maxi Cosi Mico Base – Overview
This Maxi Cosi Mico Base is suitable for use with either the Maxi Cosi Mico AP or the Maxi Cosi Mico NXT car seats.
It comes with integrated LATCH connectors and can be installed using those or the normal adult seatbelt if your vehicle does not have LATCH anchor points. Its comes in 2 different colours: white or black.
This base is used to secure your Maxi Cosi Mico car seat in a rear-facing position to ensure maximum collision protection for your baby. The American Academy of Paediatrics recommends that children remain in rear-facing car seats until they are at least 2 years of age.
The Maxi Cosi Mico seats will click quickly and easily into this base and, when combined with a compatible stroller, this can make your life much easier than having to continuously lift your baby in and out of a convertible car seat (especially when you are trying not to wake them up from their nap!)
